| Biography of my Radio Life |
|
|
|

In 1974, joined JA3ZGB when I was
a junior high school student, and
started SWL as JA3-8724 |

I got my first hamradio operator's license in 1975,
it was "Denshin-kyu" which is equivalent to the 3rd
Class amateur operator license now. |
|
|

Enjoyed ham club in junior high and
high school age. Most of my friends
have quitted hamradio now. (TT) |

This is my first hamradio station license as JE3UWU
in Oct. 1975.
Only 10W and CW is allowed for "Denshin" Class operator.
14MHz band is not allowed. No WARC bands at that time. |

I was a youngest member of
KCJ (Keymen's Club of Japan).
Photo: The 2nd General Assembly
Meeting of KCJ in 1978 held in
Osaka, I was standing 2nd from the
upper right side. |

Got the 1st Class Amateur Radio Operator License
in 1978 when I was 17 years old. |
|
|
 |
My first set-up in Amagasaki city, Hyogo-pref. was Yaesu
FT101ES and Hi-MOUND HK-702 Straight Key and cheap
Katsumi paddle.
1980-1984, I studied engineering at Kobe Univ.,
fortunately or unfortunately my main interest was not
directed to the radio but to the sports those days.
In 1984 I joined an electric company in Tokyo so I left
my home town then moved to Yokohama city.
So hamradio activity in those days till 1986 was alomost zero. |
|
|
In 1986 I've married and moved to Sagamihara city, Kanagawa-pref. and applied
new station license.
Then my second callsign JE1TRV was assigned. This callsign is a secondhand (reassigment).
Activity has been low for long time due to busy work and taking care of
small kids for about 10 years.
In 1997 I've moved to Fukushima city due to change of my job assignment
then I got new station license
there as JN7WNB but almost no activity by that callsign.
In 2000, I came back to Tokyo and got my current house in Machida city.

Look! Here is my recent station license.
I intentionally applied CW(A1) only. ;-) |

Since 1998 I tried to get 1st Class Commercial Radio Operator
License, after three times of exam I finally got the license.
Unfortunately I have no real experience of commercial duty. |
|
|
In 2004, I got an Extra class of US FCC license.
And I got a callsign NC6W (vanity call system)
